Where Kids Grow, Learn, and Thrive Through Real-Life Skills
Weekly horsemanship class
Children will gain hands-on experience learning how to properly feed, care for, groom, and tack a horse. Through guided instruction, they will develop confidence, responsibility, and an understanding of basic horse care while building a meaningful connection with the animals.
The Hands-On Farm Experience
Children participate in daily farm life, developing responsibility and practical real-life skills through experience:
Feeding and caring for farm animals
Learning proper animal care and safety
Building responsibility, discipline, and compassion
Learning & Education
Children who do not practice reading and math over the summer often experience a phenomenon known as the "summer slide" or summer learning loss. On average, students can lose one to three months of grade-level proficiency in these core subjects. Also many kids today, will graduate Highschool without ever learning how to read and write in cursive! At Lox Farm Summer Camp we implement:
Reading and writing activities
Learning how to read & write in cursive
Math exercises and games
Horticulture
We teach kids how to grow things, what they need to grow and how to care for them:
Planting and maintaining a garden.
Learning how to compost
Understanding sustainability and healthy living
Every child receives their own Action Bible to take home
Faith lessons are subjects to parental approval we respect all spiritual beliefs’ and lack thereof.
Faith & Character Development
We believe in building strong character and values alongside education:
Daily Bible studies and prayer
Lessons focused on kindness, discipline, and integrity
Each child receives their own Action Bible to take home at the end of the summer
